Springtime at the Adobe

The Leonis Adobe Museum in Old Town Calabasas is hosting its family-friendly Springtime at the Adobe event on Saturday, April 5th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Kids can make spring-themed crafts, see our lambs, and learn about local birds with Kristen Kanatzar from the California Wildlife Center. Other activities include tortilla pressing and a scavenger hunt with filled eggs as a prize. Enjoy live music with Craig Newton, shaved ice from Kona Ice available for purchase, and fun demonstrations of rancho life from the 1880s!

Admission is $8 and FREE for members & under 2 Y/O. Don’t forget to renew your membership easily online. We can’t wait to see you on the rancho!

*Please note that the historic adobe house will not be open on Saturday, 4/5/25 and the museum will only be open for the duration of the event.

The Leonis Adobe Museum founded the Passport 2 History program in 2012. We've since grown the program to connect over 80 historic and cultural sites, including historic houses, cultural centers, and art and maritime museums from San Diego to San Luis Obispo. Start your adventure in exploring the story of Southern and Central California by purchasing a passport booklet in the Museum gift shop for $5. Collect site stickers at all 83 sites to receive a prize. Along the way, sign up for our newsletter and follow our P2H social platforms to find out what's new all across the P2H community.
